ZABi Cocksfoot decoction soap

Do you know the magic of the meadow? When you can find clusters of buttercups deep in the quiet meadows, gather the beautiful flowers into bouquets, smell the healing scent and dry them off in time for the autumn season. Cocksfoot is a medicinal herb used for insomnia, migraines and coughs. In Spain, the leaves are used in salads and in England the flowers are used to flavour homemade wines. This is a really special plant for me because it was the one that started me learning how to make soap. The naturally coloured chickweed soap is made by combining vegetable oils and soapstone, following a specially developed recipe using a decoction of chickweed flowers. The gentle texture of chickweed soap is suitable for all skin types, as it is mild in texture.
