DagnyLuxe® silk pillowcase for skin and hair beauty
Thanks to the silk production technique and the properties of real silk, this pillowcase is breathable and offers excellent breathability. The natural mulberry silk pillowcase reduces perspiration during sleep and ensures an even temperature, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. The silk is made up of amino acid chains that have the same pH level as your skin. These proteins can help prevent skin ageing and split ends. Silk also reduces the loss of the skin’s natural oils and moisture.
Top quality A6 silk
For optimum smoothness, softness and shine, only long-staple silk is used in the production of our pillowcases. A-grade silk products are the finest and highest quality silk available. C is the lowest grade. The figure also carries a classification. For example, silk products can be 3A, 5A or 6A. 6A is the highest. So when you see a silk product that is 6A, you can be sure that it is the highest quality of that particular type of silk that you can buy. If a textile product has the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that every component of that product, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the product is safe for human health. Testing is provided by OEKO-TEX® partner institutes, based on the extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. The tests determine whether products meet certain criteria. The catalogue of criteria is updated at least once a year and updated with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.
How do I care for my DagnyLuxe® silk pillowcase?
Hand wash the silk pillowcase. We recommend hand washing the pillowcase to make it last longer. Hand wash the silk pillowcase with a mild pH neutral liquid detergent. Hand washing can increase the life of the pillowcase and will help to maintain its shine, softness and silkiness. The slicker the silk pillowcase, the better the effect on the skin and hair.Washing the silk pillowcase in a washing machine. If you do want to wash your pillowcase in the washing machine, you can do so only on the delicate setting, using cold water with a mild pH-neutral liquid detergent. The pillowcase must be placed in a wash bag.Drying the silk pillowcase. The most suitable drying method is natural shade drying. Do not tumble dry in a washing machine or tumble dryer. Ironing should be done only at very low temperatures.
